Sometimes it may seem these promises are not for us. That it might be a pride thing to believe this that these are at all possible for us. Well, in truth, it is actually pride in itself, that we do NOT believe these promises.  They ARE for us. Why? Because WE are “HIS” children…imagine that?

God said “IF you listen…”.  Think about a given day. WHAT and WHO are we “listening” to?  We think sometimes that we listen to people, and what comes out of “their” mouths.  But we are so quick to believe or even “act “as if” we are interested” in what they say, when MOST often…we are NOT listening.  Sure, we may “hear” them..but “listen”?  With what ear.

First…if it is edifying…then lets engage in that edification.  Amen?  If it is NOT edifying…guess what…to avoid any confrontation or anything that may come from our hearts, we just go on….hearing….NOT listening.  We listen with our hearts.

When God said “IF YOU LISTEN…”.  Ok, “IF” we listen…and KNOW..the promises of God…(they are ALL..right there…in the Chapter of Deuteronomy 28:1-15.  YUP…from OUR DADDY alright.  And, “IF” we listen to our DADDY…HE is going to tell us the right thing to do, to REAP the right things “for us”…and trust me.  They WILL occur.   I’ve lived them.

Then, when I didn’t listen?  Trust me….left to MY devises?   I reaped ONLY what I sowed.  And it wasn’t pretty.   I listened to the WRONG voices.  The wrong people?  But…who was leading “those” people?  It was what THEY “listened” to all their lives…

SO…the greatest gift we have been given?  The POWER to “listen”…YUP….we listen….with only ONE thing in mind, ONE thing with intent…is to gain a TRUTH…that will NEVER EVER fail us…..THE WORD….of God.  Amen?

And…..when we ALL “LISTEN” to the WORD (HIS Name is JESUS)…we learn to listen…and listen to learn.  And…in time…we end up having RENEWED minds….renewed spirits…and most of all …a HEART renewed.  What comes with that?  Healthy living…healthy loving, Healthy SEEING….and healthy choices.

The more….we “study to show ourselves approved…” (ONLY by knowing the WORD of GOD)….and…knowing the WORD…and that is gained by FAITH in “hearing” the WORD…only by READING and praying HIS WORD….can we begin to walk in the Spirit….of God…

and begin:  “LIVING IN THE ANSWER”…..HIS NAME IS JESUS

LEARN TO LISTEN………..LISTEN TO LEARN…IN JESUS NAME
